Nikhil Pillai, PhD, Sanofi

Nikhil Pillai is an experienced Quantitative Pharmacologist with expertise in leading modeling and simulation support for projects across various modalities and therapeutic areas.  As Principal Scientist II at Sanofi, he manages high-priority initiatives and develops innovative platform models to streamline early drug discovery decisions. Nikhil is also at the forefront of integrating machine learning strategies within the Quantitative Pharmacology group, aiming to minimize the need for in-vitro and animal experiments.

Nikhil earned his PhD in Computational Data-Enabled Sciences from the University at Buffalo, in collaboration with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His extensive contributions to publications and conferences highlight his expertise in Quantitative Pharmacology and the application of machine learning in drug development.
