Krista Gipson, PhD, Takeda Pharmaceuticals

Krista is a medicinal chemist with 17 years of experience in drug discovery at Takeda, where she has focused on discovering and optimizing oncology therapeutics. She has led cross-functional efforts spanning small-molecule design, screening workflows, and data integrity. She has recently transitioned into a digital strategy role supporting Takeda’s global chemistry organization with the goal to scale advanced analytics and AI-enabled discovery. Krista earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Clarkson University and her PhD from Boston College.
