Devendra Pade, PhD, Amgen Inc.

Devendra Pade is a Senior Principal Scientist in the Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism (PKDM) department at Amgen Inc., where he is responsible for integrating physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling and simulation with drug discovery, disease biology, protein sciences and clinical pharmacology to support the advancement of best therapeutic candidates. Prior to Amgen, Dr. Pade was a Principal Scientist at the Simcyp Division of Certara Inc., where he led PBPK modeling efforts in oral drug absorption, animal model development, drug pharmacokinetics in bariatric surgery populations, and drug–transporter kinetics. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
