Jon Monteleone, Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit

Jon has 20+ years working in the Pharmaceutical industry in the areas of Pharmacometrics and Clinical Pharmacology. Prior to joining industry, Jon served as a lecturer in the department of pharmacology at the University of Auckland and department of pharmacology & toxicology at the University of Arizona. He served as a strategic consultant for Pharsight Corporation (later known as Certara). Currently, Ihe has been at Alexion, AstraZeneca’s Rare Disease Unit, for almost 12 years. He has applied quantitative mathematical model-based methods and tools to understand exposure-response for a range of new and old medicines. Jon considers rare diseases and large molecules as his areas of particular focus.
