Rajesh Krishna, PhD

Rajesh is a scientific key opinion leader with over three decades of experience in new drug development, specializing in model-informed strategies for biologics, vaccines, and small molecules. After a career in big pharma where his work resulted in the approval of over 20 NDAs/BLAs, he is currently a Senior Distinguished Scientist at Certara, where he is a strategic advisor and leads CDDS innovation engines. Rajesh is known for cutting through the complexity of drug development in today’s rapidly evolving environment and providing actionable real-world solutions to global pharmaceutical companies, VCs, and start-ups. Rajesh holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (University of British Columbia) and an MBA in Strategy and Innovation (Warwick). Consistently recognized among the top 2% of influential scientists, his work includes 100+ publications, 90+posters, and 4 books. Rajesh is frequently sought upon to serve in several cross-industry initiatives and consortia and his work has impacted global innovation efforts and opening up new avenues to accelerate drug development. He is an elected fellow of AAPS and an emeritus member of ASCPT.
