Lisa Hendricks, Novartis
personal info
Lisa started her career as a statistician at the Canadian affiliate for Novartis’ predecessor company Sandoz. She moved to France to lead a biostatistics group at a mid-sized French company and later moved to the UK again leading a team in full development biostatistics. With a move to the US in 2007, Lisa moved into early development biostatistics where she was exposed to and developed an interest in pharmacometrics at Amgen. In 2012, Lisa rejoined Novartis to lead a clinical pharmacology biostatistics group in Oncology. When Novartis integrated their oncology and general medicines development teams in 2017, Lisa joined Pharmacometrics leading the Oncology PMX team. In 2020, she became Global Head PMX. The PMX team at Novartis is closely connected with biostatistics and other quantitative sciences under the umbrella of Analytics. This close connection across quantitative groups, has helped foster the uptake of MIDD approaches at Novartis.
